Kumasi, April.22, GNA- Reverend Obagmey Tetteh, Senior Vice President of the Databank Group, has advised the youth, especially those in tertiary institutions to adopt the culture of savings to accumulate enough funds for investment.

They must also take interest in the country's investment policies to help reduce poverty in society.

Rev. Tetteh gave the advice at a forum on "Investment Opportunities In The Capital Markets", organised by the final-year students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, in Kumasi on Thursday.

The forum was aimed at exposing the fresh graduates of the university, the opportunity to identify various investment options and other existing opportunities.

Rev. Tetteh said creating wealth through investment was neither gender nor age sensitive, adding the earlier one started the better. He said making viable investments required discipline, hard work and honesty.

Rev. Tetteh asked the students to set their financial goals, seek information and understand the fundamentals of the investment climate before they invest. 22 April 05
