The spokesperson of the Union of Presidents of Tertiary Education Confedracy-TESCON, Samuel Abdulai Jinapor has said, Hon. Dr. Richard Winfred Anane will be exonerated in the investigations into allegeation of corruption and abuse of office by CHRAJ.

Samuel Abdulai Jinapor said these at a press Cnference in Kumasi which was organised by the Union of Tescon Presidents to throw their support behind Dr. Anane on the alleged Saga between him and Alexandria Obrian.

The Union of Presidents Continued that, upon the petition to vetting committee of parliament about the alleged conduct of the honorable minister, the the vetting committee set up a bi-partisan sub-committee to get to the buttom of the whole controvercy once and for all.

The Union of presidents continued enphatically that, the sub-committee cleared Dr. Anane of all allegation and the vetting committee subsequently recommended the minister to parliament for his approval as minister of state of which parliament of Ghana confirmed him.

They said, it is very clear that, the honorable minister for road and transport has always wished to submit himself to due process by constitutionaly mandated institutions of state.

The Tescom Presidents condemned in very strong terms, the attempt by the a section of the public who tries to sentence the minister prematurely.

They intimated that, the machination of some individuals and groups of persons who have orchestrated and executed plans for the arrival of miss Alexantria Obrian, the lady at the centre of controvercy is one action that must be shamefully condemned.

They continued that Ghanaians will do a great disservice to the Kuffour administration and the nation, if we do not reiterate the good work that the minister has executed of which is unprecedented in the history of this country.

The Tescom Union of Presidents said, the massive revolution in the road section of our country is an empirical evidence to validate their assertion for every objective minded Ghanaian to see and feel.

They continuel that, the introduction of the metro mass transportation stress tremendously in all parts of the country attests to this facts.

They therefore appealled to all to join hands to encourage and applaud hard working men like Dr Richard Anane rather than to allow some few self-seeking individuals to malign, vilify and destroy the hard won reputation of great men.

The Tescom presidents called on all meaningful Ghanaians to treat with contempt, the calculated attempt to completly assasinate the character of Dr Anane, a minister we would all attest to has worked out his last blood for the benefit of the country.
