Ghanaian musician Mzbel has expressed heartfelt gratitude to those who supported her during the funeral of her mother, Madam Charlotte Asi Ocansey.

The funeral service, held on October 5, 2024, at the Grace Presbyterian Church in Babayara-Madina, saw an outpouring of love and support from family, friends, and well-wishers.

In a touching post on social media, Mzbel, born Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, thanked everyone who offered their condolences and prayers.

"Thank you to those who wept with us, those who called us, those who prayed for us, those who came over with soothing and comforting words, and those who even sat with us without saying anything," Mzbel wrote.

"Your gifts, donations, warm thoughts, and hours invested went a long way to help us bear the pain in our difficult times and grief. We are eternally grateful."

Mzbel also extended special thanks to individuals including Asabea Kropa, Clemento Suarez, and FimFim, as well as Francis Xavier Sosu, for their unwavering support.

She paid tribute to her late mother, affectionately known as "Shai-Shai" or "Mummy 1," describing her as her secret keeper, friend, and sister.

The funeral was followed by a Thanksgiving service on October 6, where Mzbel's fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry continued to show their support and share in her grief.
