The 129 Executions At Nsawam Range

As the National Reconciliation Commission (NRC) embarks on its last nationwide tour before winding up within the next five months, interest in its proceedings has begun to soar.

This interest has been sustained by the possible re-appearance of ex-President Jerry Rawlings and Capt. Kojo Tsikata (rtd).

These are the list of 137 executions which took place at the Nsawam firing range, between May 18, 1984 and July 17, 1993. They were executed in 15 batches and include those found guilty of subversion, armed robbery and fraud.
