Family and friends of Mr. Alexander Kofi Owusu Bamfo recently gathered to
pay their last respects.
The viewing occurred at the Bethel Presbyterian Reformed Church, located on
Flatbush Avenue and Church Street, Brooklyn, New York. Funeral service
followed from 7pm -9pm. It was officiated by Rev. Samuel Atiemo.
A traditional funeral rites also occurred at Nazareth High School at 457
East 57th Street, Brooklyn (between Clarendon Road and Ave. B on 58 Street).
Music was provided by Katabo Soundz and it was hosted by George Bonsu;

The mortal remains of Mr. Alexander Kofi Owusu Bamfo has been flown to Ghana
for final funerary rites and burial at his birthplace of Akyem-Asafo on
Saturday, June 6, 2009 at the Akyem-Asafo Presbyterian Church Cemetery,
followed by a memorial and thanksgiving service at the Akyem-Asafo
Presbyterian Church on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at 9:30 am.
He left behind, his wife, Mrs Charlotte Opoku Bamfo, Children; Linda
Adwoboah Bamfo, Allyson Afaribea Bamfo, Florence Opoku Bamfo, Grandchildren;
Brandon Sarfo, Brittney Sarfo, Shanice Donkor, Derrick Donkor and Maame
Tawiah. He had many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
The Bamfo?s family would like to thank ALL for their support in diverse
ways.
