Nothing seems to tear him apart. He is also not ready to quit throwing in suggestions even if it would fall on deaf ears.

Dr. Charles Wereko-Brobby has once again slammed the leadership of the New Patriotic Party, calling on them to step aside and introduce youthful breeds. Out of the numerous attacks on them, the one that stood out was when he described Dr. Bawumia as a “clueless” witness in the ongoing Supreme Court petition.

This created an unfriendly tension between Dr. Wereko-Brobby and most leaders in the New Patriotic Party. He was later served and is serving a two year ban for going hard on the leaders of the party.

But that punishment did not get Dr. Wereko-Brobby hot and bothered. He shot a subliminal attack on Nana Akufo Addo. He noted that, unlike the NPP's flagbearer, President Mahama could boast of being the nation’s foremost post-independence born Leader.

Speaking in an interview with OKAY FM, the former Volta River Authority boss suggested that for the NPP to look attractive and vibrant again, it would be advisable for the current octogenarian leaders to make way for the youth.

Though his attempt to become Chairman and lead the NPP in the past was squashed, Dr. Wereko-Brobby insists he was cheated. He refused to elaborate further on the matter and noted that he would not be in a rush to lead the party at his age. He called on the elders of the party to side with him and flush out their current leaders and replace them with youthful ones.
