The youth in my community are lazy, drug, sex addicts - Chief laments

The Odekro of Breman Kokoso in the Asikuma Odobeng Brakwa Nana Tutu Aban I is worried over the conduct of youth in his area stating that it is inimical to its development.

According to him, the youth despite efforts put in place by he and his elders to make them useful in society, they are rather neck-deep in drugs like ‘wee’ and alcohol, others in cyber fraud popularly called ‘Sakawa’ among others, a development he finds saddening.

Nana added that the school girls in Breman Kokoso do not sleep early and are always on the streets the reason there a lot of teenage pregnancies in the community which is very bad.

“My elders and I has advised the youth anytime we meet them but it seems they don’t respect us” Nana Added.

Nana Tutu Abban I is particularly disturbed that the youth in his community are not interested in hard work that pays off but are searching for criminally-minded jobs that come with quick cash warning that it accounts for most premature deaths in the area.

“All this bad behaviors are as a result of Poor Parental care, I blame the Parents in my Community for not taking good care of their wards”, he observed.
