Theresa's gestures spoke louder than her words

Accra, Dec 07, GNA - Madam Theresa Tagoe had earned a reputation for herself for engaging in camera friendly stage performances in Parliament. Her style makes her more eccentric than realistic when it came to matters of national importance but on Wednesday, she stole the hardest of hearts. She aggressively deplored the way government treated the Department of Social Welfare and social workers.

As her body moved, her hands wavered putting the fragile microphone planted before her under pressure and that was enough to tell the house that a lot more should be done to help social work. "The money is too little, they take care of the orphans, the disables and aged and many other things."

Theresa's drama overshadowed her aggressive disposition and low word count as she drove home a point, which sharp-tongued men and women have failed to make. A word for the weak took away her weakness and made her an idol in the eyes of those struggling at the bottom of the social ladder.
