Indeed, uncle JB has heard some National Executives of the NDC pass certain tongue-in-cheek comments about the 65% figure and uncle JB can’t help laughing at them.
Of course, those national executives sit in their offices and don’t move around so they are not privy to the kinds of information that this paper is privy to.
And it is because those in leadership positions in the NPP are very much aware that they would most definitely lose the next elections that is why they are stealing waa waa waa.
Yes, the NPP will lose the next elections that is why Kwadwo Mpianim and co are now stealing in the open.
Look at what happened in parliament the other day.
In which civilized country will Kwadwo Mpianim get away with what he did in parliament?
They waited till the last day of sitting and then get all their MP’s into the chamber of the House and then vote for Mpianim to walk away with $11.8 million, which is over 108 billion cedis.
Why, does Kwadwo Mpianim think that Ghanaians are fools?
108 billion cedis for what?
The celebrations are over and the Ghana @ 50 Secretariat has been shut down and they still need such a huge amount of money?
36.1 billion for vehicles, which vehicles and to serve what purpose?
19.1 billion for AU Housing, has the AU Summit not come and gone?
7.4 billion for Independence Square rehabilitation; have they not already spent money on that project?
8.3 billion for the rehabilitation of the VVIP Lounge at Kotoka Airport, to serve what purpose?
9.2 billion for the rehabilitation of street lights, which street lights?
22.5 billion for Jubilee Rest Stops, which rest stops?
What about the toilets they promised to build, have they finished building the toilets?
People of Ghana have you seen the way Kwadwo Mpianim and co are stealing our money just like that?
They are no longer hiding; they don’t give a damn about Ghanaians and so are stealing in the open.
Sometimes when I sit and watch the NPP do certain things, it hurts my heart that they have not allowed history to provide them with any useful lessons. Both in Ghana and abroad, lots of people have suffered for their indiscretion whilst in government and the NPP is saying that it can insulate itself from such suffering as a result of the gross indiscretion that is being exhibited? Has the NPP not jailed NDC functionaries for certain supposed indiscrete things they did whilst in government?
And the NPP thinks that it would not dance to the same tune?
Their plan is that, even if they lose the elections, they must have lots of money to be able to at least pay their media acolytes to be making noise on their behalf. They must be able to continue to finance certain journalists to be making noise on their behalf.
Apart from that, the agenda is to wipe out the coffers dry and sell all the nation’s property to themselves so that even though the NDC will be in power, they will be in control of all the important sectors of the economy so that they can sabotage Professor Mills and his government anytime they so wish. Do you now understand why after selling Ghana Airways, Ashanti Goldfields and other state owned entities to themselves, they now want to sell ADB as well? So you now believe me when I say that they know that they are going to lose the elections and so they just want to sell the resources of the state and make enough money before leaving?
But what they have forgotten is that whether they like it or not, power will change hands and it is when the power changes hands that they will know whether they have been wise or extremely foolish in their agenda of plundering the nation’s wealth.
