The intruders broke into the burglarproof glass window at the back of the building, providing access into the general office where the computer part was stolen.
Officials at the Public Relations of the NHIS office were not ready for comments but Jonathan reports that a formal complain have been lodged at the Atwima Nwabiagya District Police Command.
“We have begun investigations into the incident. It is too early to disclose our findings to the public except to say that the only system unit which is used to print NHIS cards had been stolen, District Crime Officer who only gave his name as DSP Akotoga stated in an interview with XYZ News.
No arrest has since been made.
