At Kumeso, a saloon car knocked and killed three children who were standing by the roadside inciting an irate mob to set the car ablaze. At Kumeso, three people sustained serious injuries when a private car hit a truck.

The injured were rushed to the Juaso District Hospital where they were admitted.

At Nkwanta near Juaso on the Obogu road, a bus and a saloon car were involved in a head-on collision, resulting in the death of the driver of the saloon car.

Dr Lord Justice Gyamfi-Fenteng, District Chief Executive, appealed to the Ministry of Health and non- governmental organisations to assist the District Hospital with an ambulance since the area is accident-prone.

"It is a disturbing spectacle to see doctors and nurses struggling to find taxis to transfer injured people to Agogo Basel Mission Hospital or Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital," he said.
