Accra Hearts of Oak attacking midfielder, Thomas Abbey, has expressed his delight after being named the NASCO Premier League player for the month of July.
The hardworking midfielder played three premier league games in the month of July having scored four goals and was adjudged Man-of-the-Match twice.
According to young midfield dynamo, he feels great to win this award as it will serve as great motivation as the season nears end.
“The feeling is great, it’s every players dream to win this award. This will encourage do more so that I can double up my effort as the season nears end,” he told Asempa FM.
Abbey is currently joint top scorer together with Bechem United’s Ahmed Toure with 12 goals in the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League.
