Tigo unveils 2015 Hajj communication package

Millicom International Cellular, a leading international telecommunication company and operators of Tigo Ghana has introduced a special 2015 hajj package.

The package would enable customers in the country to stay in contact with relatives on the religious pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.

The special Tigo 2015 Hajj offer includes 25 per cent reduction of the international call rates to Saudi Arabia for Tigo pre-paid customers; and a high tech communication connectivity to ensure that pilgrims enjoy the services as well as special roaming service to allow Ghanaians in Saudi Arabia and on Tigo to call back home.

Mr Abdul-Malik Adamn, Tigo International Business Manager explained that Ghanaian pilgrims using Tigo network could use the offer to call any other network to ensure constant contact with family members and loved ones back home for a long period of time.

He noted that customers could sign on to any of their packages by dialing *515# and choose an option that best suits them to enjoy this service.

“We have reduced the packages by 25 per cent because our customers want to stay longer on calls with their loved ones embarking on the religious pilgrimage,” he said.

This he added would help customers to make significant savings and urged all Muslims whose relatives are going on pilgrimage to Mecca to take advantage of the offer to communicate at ease.
