IGP Uncovered
. Lie About Cadet Course Mid-way 44
. Go On Badmouthing Spree To Stay In Office
.And Use Vice President As A Decoy
Intelligence Desk Report
Just about Eighteen (18) days for Alhaji Amidu Mahama, Commissioner of Police (COP) to bid farewell to the Ghana Police Service, as he attains the compulsory 60th-year retirement age, he has decided to destroy the institution, and in addition, badmouth the Inspector- General of Police (IGP), Mr. Paul Tawiah Quaye, in order to stay in office.
In clear dishonesty and attempt to sabotage his most superior officer, the IGP, COP, Alhaji Amidu Mahama, in the wake of the recent hue and cry about the special (professional) cadet course the police administration intends to run for personnel, denied ever having knowledge about the said provision; totally spewing lies.
As the Director-General of the Police Human Resource Department, credible information picked up from the corridors of the police headquarters points to the fact that, Alhaji Amidu Mahama was part of the team that, upon thorough deliberation, recommended that the said special cadet course for selected professionals and others, as well as, C/Inspectors/Inspectors be undertaken, so for him to make this sharp u-turn is most unfortunate.
Also intelligence information reaching this paper from Kumasi where Alhaji Amidu Mahama is currently undertaking some police recruitment exercise, reveals the COP during a telephone conversation with a certain senior police officer (name withheld for now) saying that he intentionally reverse Mr. Paul Tawiah Quaye’s decision, so as to totally cancel the in-take of the cadet course mid-way 44, in order to spite his boss (IGP).
According to this paper’s sources, Alhaji Amidu Mahama claims that the IGP has refused to help get his needed extension of service, which will enable him stay in office after the 20th February, 2012 deadline, when he is fully aware that the said extension he was requesting and lobbying people of corridors of power to get, is unconstitutional and out of place per the Public Service Act. Still on the Director-General of the police human resource department, credible information available to The Informer has it that, in order to cover up some of his stinking deals as regards the police recruitment, he has requested for Ten (10) people to be enlisted into the service when a certain journalist (name withheld for now) threatens to exposed him of his maneuverings. However, that the Deputy IGP, Mohammed Ahmed Alhassan has also in his desperation by fair or foul means to become IGP has been frequenting the offices of the Vice President, John Dramani Mahama, who is the Chairman of the Police Council, badmouthing the IGP in order to fuel his ambition. This paper’s intelligence sources at the Vice Presidency have hinted.
It would be recall that, last year when the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) left the shores of this country to receive medical attention; all sort of vile propaganda was in motion to discredit him to the extent that they claim he has temped with his birth certificate, which is not true.
Today, the IGP has again travelled for his routine medical attention, and so Alhaji Amidu Mahama and his caucus have decided to sabotage him, because of them wanting extension and to becoming IGP.
As for Alhaji Amidu Mahama, The Informer will expose him big time as regards his dealings with the particular journalist; and also showing the Deputy IGP his smoothness level, but our passionate appeal to His Excellency the Vice President, John Dramani Mahama, is that he should be careful in his handling of issues in the police service, or else, he falls into a big booby trap that will forever destroy his political ambition.
