The body has been deposited at the Wassa Akropong Government Hospital for autopsy
At the same time when Ghana was celebrating the birth of Dr Kwame Nkrumah, a 40-year-old man met his gruesome death at Wassa-Nsuapo on the Ayanfuri-Dadieso road.
MyNewsGh.com confirmed that on Friday, 21st September, at about 8: 45 am, Police on foot patrols discovered the beheaded male body, aged about 40 at Wassa Nsuapo Junction on the Dadieso-Ayanfuri main road.
Police found the body on the shoulders of the road. On inspection, they discovered that the head was cut off the main body and the right thigh broken with deep bruises at the back of the body suggesting that, the body has been dragged and or tortured.
The severed head has still not been found. The body has been removed to Wassa Akropong Government Hospital for preservation and autopsy.
