Team, Jan. 26, GNA- The Team Circuit Court 'A', has granted a 30-million cedis bail with surety to an Shaman-based trader for destroying the property of his estranged wife with acid. Nana Tokyo Oomph who pleaded not guilty to unlawful and intentionally causing damage to personal clothing valued at 11.5 million cedis, would re-appear on February 2.

Police Chief Inspector Matilda Teethe, told the Court presided over by Mr Charles Aside, that Oomph who sacked her wife after a misunderstanding over his extra marital affairs, disobeyed a court order to allow his wife to pack her belongings.

Chief Inspector Teethe said the court enforced the order, which enabled the complainant to take away her three suitcases. She said the clothing in the bags was found to have been destroyed with acid compelling the court to order the accused to pay 11.5 million cedis, but he refused to do so, leading to the transfer of the case to the Circuit Court.
