Traditional Council support Tema teachers awards

Tema (Greater Accra ) 27 Oct. '98 The Tema Traditional Council (TTC), has presented five pieces of wax prints worth 500,000 cedis to the Tema office of the Ghana Education Service (GES) as its contribution towards the best Teacher award in the Municipality.

Fifteen teachers are to be awarded for their meritorious work at the ceremony to be held in Tema on October 27.

Making the presentation, Nii Adjei Kraku the second, paramount chief of Tema said the donation is in recognition of the services teachers render to the community.

He said teachers "belong to the past, present and the future" and since their contribution enhances the development of the nation they must be recognised.
