The yuletide season is here with us again and major streets in the capital are jammed with vehicular traffic.
Usually, the Christmas season draws people far and near to the markets in the city to shop ahead of the occasion.
Some people also travel to visit family both in and outside the city, therefore, the roads get jammed with vehicular and human traffic.
A visit by GhanaWeb to some parts of the capital on Friday afternoon showed how commuters are stuck in traffic.
Some commuters who spoke to GhanaWeb expressed their frustration with the situation.
According to them, the situation is unbearable as they have to spend more time on trips that require less time on a normal day.
An Uber driver also complained about how some of his passengers had to fight with him due to a surge in their fares as a result of time spent on the way to their destination.
