ABC News has obtained a trending video of President Akufo-Addo welcoming dignitaries to the Kofi Annan Peace and Security Summit in Accra on Wednesday.
Among the dignitaries at the event was former President Mahama.
It is the seemingly ‘awkward’ handshake between President Akufo-Addo and his predecessor that has gotten everyone on social media buzzing.
The craze has set off a new challenge on social media, #theawkwardhandshake challenge
