Three Thematic Areas for the Campaign

The newly launched National Sanitation Campaign will focus on three thematic areas that will seek to change the attitudes of Ghanaians. The three areas are; Stop Open Urination, Stop Open Defecation and Stop Littering.

The Minister for Water Resources and Sanitation, Joseph Kofi Adda, in his speech identified major logistical challenges his ministry is facing such as lack of lands for processing of waste and lack of adequate equipment to deal with waste that is generated by the populists.
