Two die in a ghastly motor accident on Kwahu road

Two men believed to be in their mid-thirties have been killed in a motor accident at Akyem Sekyere on the Kwahu-Nkwakaw road.

According to a live report on KOFI TV, friends of the deceased who identified them as Eli and Techie said they both are chainsaw operators who were on their way home from an unidentified location.

The unfortunate incident involved a Yutong bus which was heading towards Accra, the motor the deceased was riding and a Toyota Corolla heading towards Kwahu.

The KOFI TV report indicates that the Toyota Corolla was allegedly overtaking the deceased motorists when the accident occurred.

The state of the motorcycle involved in the accident revealed the impact of the collision as it had been wrecked into pieces.

As at the time of the report, the police were on the scene gathering data for preliminary investigation.

Their bodies have been conveyed into a police vehicle to be deposited at the mortuary.
