Two grave looters convicted

Assin Foso (C/R), May 02, GNA- Philip Tetteh and Kwame Affiamoa, two grave looters from Assin Tebil in the Central Region were on Friday jailed 24 months each by a district magistrate's court at Assin Foso. The prosecution told the court that in March the two men attempted to sell human bones they had exhumed from graves.

Assin Foso (C/R), May 02, GNA- Philip Tetteh and Kwame Affiamoa, two grave looters from Assin Tebil in the Central Region were on Friday jailed 24 months each by a district magistrate's court at Assin Foso. The prosecution told the court that in March the two men attempted to sell human bones they had exhumed from graves. Someone faked interest in the deal and alerted the police at Assin Foso who arrested them while in the process of collecting money in the house of the informant.
