Forty-four people have died of the disease in Ghana
Two more people have passed on due to the coronavirus infections, taking Ghana’s death toll to 44.
The Ghana Health Service announced this via their official website on Saturday, June 6.
Ghana’s current case count of COVID-19 stands at 9,462, with recoveries standing at 3,547.
The total active case, however, is at 5,669.
The Greater Accra region still leads with 6,282 cases, followed by Ashanti and Western regions with 1,645 and 580 cases respectively.
Ahafo Region is yet to record a case of COVID-19.
