The two who pleaded guilty was each fined GH¢300 and in addition bonded to be of good behaviour for 12 months or in default three months imprisonment each.

Chief Inspector Augustine Amonoo told the court presided over by Mr Richard Asiedu-Badu, that on February 14, this year, Dabaah went to Baaba's house to demand an amount of 10 pesewas she owed her and also called her a prostitute.

He said on July 13, Dabaah again confronted Baaba, in public and demanded the 10 pesewas she owed her adding that Baaba's mother offered to pay the money but Dabaah refused and rather insulted Baaba resulting in a fight.

Chief Inspector Amonoo, said the next day the two women again fought in public and the matter was reported to the police and they were arrested.

In a related development, George Korsah, a watchman, and Efua Nyankwaa unemployed, were fined a total of GH¢20.00 by the same court for disturbing public peace.

They pleaded guilty and were each fined GH¢10.00

The prosecution said on July 7, 2008 at about 18.30 hours, Nyankwaa went to Korsah's house to demand for their son's weighing card to enable her to register him with the National Identification Programme, but Kosarh told her the card was with his mother. He said Nyankwaa then asked him for money to enable her to go for the card but he refused with the excuse that he had no money since he had not been paid his salary. Chief Inspector Amonoo said this did not go down well with her and she started shouting thereby making Korsah angry adding that Korsah slapped her and she also threw a coal pot at him.
