UBA wins Brand of the Year at Ghana West Africa Business Excellence Awards

UBA Ghana has been named the Brand of the Year award at the 2024 Ghana West Africa Business Excellence Awards event held at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.

This prestigious award recognizes UBA Ghana's commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction, as well as its significant contributions to the banking industry in Ghana.

The Ghana – West Africa Business Excellence Awards, endorsed by the West Africa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, seeks to honor outstanding companies and individuals from various business sectors in Ghana and other countries of West Africa.

It also promotes excellence in innovation, enterprise, and endeavor, while also rewarding innovative ideas that have pushed the boundaries of what is possible.

The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of UBA Ghana, Uzoechina Molokwu, commenting on the award noted, "We are incredibly proud to receive this prestigious award, which is a testament to the bank's unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Present at the ceremony held in Accra was the Special Guest of Honour, Mr. Mark Badu–Aboagye, CEO, of Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who happens to be the Keynote Speaker.

In his speech, he congratulated all awardees and assured entrepreneurs that the GNCCI will seek an enabling environment that will make businesses thrive in Ghana.
