UG gay porn actors must be arrested - Lawyer

A private legal practitioner has called for the immediate arrest and prosecution of some students of the University of Ghana who acted a gay pornographic movie with some jobless men in Accra.

Collaborative investigations between StarrFMonline.com and Breeze FM revealed Monday a festering underground gay porn movie industry in Ghana in which mostly male University students and jobless young men are preyed upon by foreign producers and their Ghanaian collaborators.

Some students of the University of Ghana have been identified in 10 of such gay porn movies which are in the possession of StarrFMonline.com.

The Bureau of National Investigations has launched investigations into the matter, but the students are reported to have gone into hiding to evade arrest.

According to the young men, they were lured into acting the movie by a European producer. They are demanding full payment of monies promised them by the producers.

But speaking to Starr News Monday, Gary Nimako said the students have committed an illegality and must be penalized for it.

“People are aware that the society frowns upon it…they have engaged in an illegality and they must be arrested,” Nimako told Bernard Nassara Saibu, host of Starr Today.
