UK - based NGO donates to the aged

Aburiman Organisation, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) based in the United Kingdom, has taken the burden upon themselves to help the aged and needy people of Aburi by donating a mini bag of rice to each of them monthly.

Madam Elizabeth Duodu, Patron of the organisation in Ghana, told Ghana News Agency at a get together at Aburi that the body has fed the needy and aged of Aburi for a year.

Mr Isaac Kwaku-Nyarko, Organiser of the NGO commended Mr O.B. Amoah, Member of Parliament for Aburi for donating GH?300.00, while Mr Seth Osae, a businessman, for giving GH?200.00 to assist in running the organisation.

Nana Obesebea II, Queen Mother of Akwamu near Nsawam, who chaired the function, congratulated Mr Isaac Kweku-Nyarko, the leader of the NGO and others for their kind gesture.

The NGO was founded by Mr Isaac Kweku-Nyarko Bekoe, Mr Kwabena Boggy and others.
