The Supreme Court has adjourned hearing of the election petition case to Tuesday, 21 May, 2013.

Court was adjourned early on Monday to allow the petitioners more time to examine documents submitted by the lawyer for the third respondent to use in cross-examining the star witness, Dr Bawumia.

The president of the panel, Justice Atuguba, deferred hearing to allow Mr Tsikata serve the petitioners with the said documents especially when the judges had not ruled on the outstanding objection raised by the petitioners.

Meanwhile the Justices overruled the petitioners’ earlier objection raised on Thursday over the line of cross examination by Mr Tsikata.

This paved way for Mr Tsikata to continue with the cross examination over some 2000 pink sheets allegedly with duplicated serial numbers.

"The list of 32 sought to be tendered is based on questions and answers emanating from the exhibits to which it relates. That is a process fully gone through if the evidence relating to it is already on record the list thereto which is merely an index to the pink sheets covered by it is merely facilitatory for tracking the evidence already so covered. The objection to its tender is therefore overruled," he said.
