UPSA Global Alumni Association makes cheque presentation to the Twumasi Family

The UPSA Global Alumni has presented a cheque of GHC 10,000 each to Seth and Constance Twumasi, a couple from Accra who lost their respective dependents in a tragic turn of events, leaving them to cope with the emotional and financial burden of their loss.

Fortunately for the couple, they had taken out Enterprise life insurance policies, which provided them with some much-needed financial relief in their difficult moment.

The couple who were registered members of the Alumni Life Assurance Policy were individually presented with a cheque of GHC 10,000 by the President of the UPSA Global Alumni Association Francis Dadzie, who expressed empathy and condolence on behalf of the Alumni.

He said, “On behalf of all members of the Global Alumni I wish to express our sincere condolence to you regarding your loss. May God grant you the patience and understanding to deal with it.”

Mr. Dadzie also emphasized the importance of having life insurance to provide financial security in the event of such unexpected occurrence and encouraged other members of the alumni association to consider taking out life insurance policies, citing the Twumasi’s situation as a cautionary tale of the need to be prepared for life’s unexpected challenges.

“This situation here today is to inform us about the benefits of having a life insurance policy in place for the unexpected. I am calling on all alumni members who have not yet taken the step to do so now in other not to be found in more bizarre circumstances if the time comes.”

He further notes that the benefits of being a member of the association extended beyond networking opportunities and encouraged all members to take advantage of the resources available to them.

The couple expressed their gratitude to Enterprise Life Insurance and the UPSA Global Alumni Association for the great amount of support in their time of need while acknowledging that the financial assistance provided by their life insurance policies would help alleviate some of the financial stress associated with their loss, allowing them to focus on grieving and healing.
