If the New Patriotic Party (NPP) was thinking that the release of their warlord, Kennedy Agyapong, from police custody, was going to be an end in itself, they must be taking another look at their script.
Very credible information reaching The Informer, has it that, the United States of America and the European Union countries, are just about to place a travel ban on Akufo-Addo’s warlord Kennedy Agyepong.
In other words, Kennedy Agyepong will not be allowed entry into the United States and the EU countries, because of his war declaration and genocidal comments; inciting Ashantis to slaughter, annihilate, and exterminate Gas and Ewes. Speaking exclusively to The Informer, a Group (name withheld for now) which is in the process of petitioning the US Embassy and the EU Commission (which have their offices in Cantonments, Accra), for travel restrictions to be placed on Kennedy Agyepong, said that, their action is actuated by the need to make it undesirable for NPP elements to continue to wish war on the country. According to the Group, it is not going to rest until it achieves its aim of making it impossible for the loudmouthed warlord to ever set foot in the United States again.
The Group said, it recalls how the same Kennedy Agyepong, after making all kinds of reckless comments (including his threat to kill President Rawlings and his household), in the build-up to the 2008 election, sneaked out of the country to the UK and USA, when it became obvious that the NPP had lost the election. The Group contends that, warlord Kennedy Agyepong must no longer have the chance to run away from the country, hence its decision to ensure that a travel ban is placed on him, while the International Criminal Court (ICC) and Ghana court look into the matter.
“It is not enough to get the ICC investigate this reckless warlord called Kennedy Agyapong; we have to also make sure that he is blacklisted by the Super Powers and prevented from entering these countries”, the Group says. “He should not be allowed to have the chance to run away from the country after declaring war and calling for the slaughter of Gas and Ewes”, the Group added. “Warlord Kennedy Agyapong must be turned into a pariah so that Akufo-Addo, Anthony Karbo, Sammy Awuku, Mac Manu and co will know that they cannot get away with their senseless and reckless war cries”, the Group intimated.
Indeed, information gathered from a US Embassy source, has it that, Kennedy Agyepong is already on the blacklist of the Department of Homeland Security in the United States.
“Once a person is being investigated by the ICC, we automatically blacklist the person”, the source said.
“Honestly, we don’t take such genocidal comments lightly at all”, the source added.
For years, Kennedy Agyepong has continued to debase his position as a Member of Parliament with his uncouth lingo and posturing; and it seems as if at long last, the foul-mouthed warlord will be severely punished for it to send a clear message to Akufo-Addo and his NPP militants, that, right-thinking Ghanaians and the world at large, will not sit idly by, and allow Akufo-Addo to become President “AT ALL COST”.
