The Concerned Voters Movement (CVM), has hailed the speech of President Akufo-Addo on the controversial Ghana-US military agreement as the best ever speech from a sitting President since the Fourth Republic.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo addressed the nation on Thursday, April 5, 2018, concerning the deal which has sparked massive debate since its announcement.
The President in his speech subtly threw a few 'jabs' at people who made a huge ‘fuss’ about the deal.
Members of the opposition previously organized a protest against the deal, an exercise that increased the weight of criticisms the government was receiving the agreement.
But in a statement issued by the group and signed by group's Founder and President, Razak Kojo Opoku indicated that President Akufo-Addo's speech was powerful, truthful, real and best ever since the Fourth Republic.
He added that the President's speech was super apt that has seriously helped to silence and correct the political 'foolishness' in the NDC 'demonstrators' and their 'trusted' allies.
He reaffirmed President Akufo-Addo's commitment that there is going to be any military base in Ghana under the NPP government.
He also assured Ghanaians that the sovereignty of Ghana is 100% intact under President Akufo-Addo watch.

The speech of President Akufo-Addo on the Ghana-US Military Deal is the best ever speech from a sitting President since the 4th Republic.
The President speech was super apt that has seriously helped to silence and correct the political 'foolishness' in the NDC demonstrators and their trusted allies.
President Akufo-Addo has demonstrated that he is a REAL PERSONALITY with absolutely no pretentious character traits which are always in abundance in John Mahama and Prof. Mills (R.I.P).
We hope that the Unspeakable Hypocrites of NDC will cease misbehaving after listening to or reading the Speech of President Akufo-Addo.
There is no military base and will never be a military base in Ghana under President Akufo-Addo's Government.
The sovereignty of Ghana is 100% intact under NPP Government.
