Unilever Ghana stands with the good people of Ghana through these trying times when all are united in the fight against the spread of the coronavirus disease. The company commits to offer its contribution in assisting with donation of products to the Health centers, NGO’s, Government institutions, Orphanages, Traditional Council and Churches among others.
To make good its commitment, the company has embarked on a donation Programme to offer assortments of its products to institutions and organizations as a symbol of solidarity in the fight against Covid-19 a Global pandemic.
The institutions it has donated to so far are the Ledzokuku Constituency, Tema Metropolitan Assembly, Tema Traditional Council, Osu Children’s Home, National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO)- Adenta District, Methodist Church- Achimota, The Ark Foundation and Mirio-Gh Foundation.
The other institutions are the Children and Teens in Worship Foundation, Ankaful Psychiatric Hospital, Ghana Prisons Service, The Apostolic Church -Ashiaman, Tema Manhean Polyclinic, Christ Church of Faith and the Assemblies of God Church, Faith Assembly Nungua.
Unilever Ghana’s Assorted Products Donated comprise Key Brillant, BF Soap, Sunlight Powder and Dish washing soap, Glen Tea, Pepsodent, Lipton Green Tea and Rexona Roll-on. Head of Communications and Sustainability Lead of Unilever Ghana, Henry Herbert Malm, said this is the company’s way of bringing support to the doorstep of as many Ghanaians as possible. He seized the opportunity to wish all Muslims a happy Ramadan and Eid Ul Fitre.
Unilever Ghana implores the good people of Ghana to endeavor to adhere to the safety and health protocols outlined and announced by the government, and to commit, at a personal level,to keep safe always.
