Unionised Staff of National Lottery Authority threaten to strike

Unionised Staff of the National Lottery Authority, NLA, have threatened to embark on a nationwide strike.

This follows continues refusal by Management of the NLA to comply with the directive by the Commission to meet officers of the Financial Business and Services Employees Union, to discuss and adopt a constitution of a Standing Negotiating Committee.

General Secretary of the FBSEU, Benjamin Mingle said, all efforts to meet with management to discuss the issue have proved futile.

He said management is infringing on the rights of workers to join a Union of their choice.
