Level 300 Geography and Linguistics Student of the University of Ghana, Barnabas Mensah, has been elected as President of the Commonwealth Hall Junior Common Room (JCR).
He will lead the Commonwealth Hall for the 2020/2021 academic year. Barnabas Mensah’s victory on Friday comes despite tough competition from Ayuumah Sandys Seth and Daniel Nii Adjei.
The election, which recorded no violent incident, saw Barnabas garner 254 votes.
Ayuumah Sandys managed to secure 154 endorsements and Daniel Nii Adjei, 40.
Other winners during the election are Hagan Lord (Vice-President), Nathan Nana Afari (Secretary) and Eric Paa Kwesi Obeng (Treasurer).
