Management of the Road Safety and Transportation Consultancy Limited (RSTC), a company providing shuttling services to members of the University of Ghana has announced a reduction in its fares.
This reduction in shuttle fare is only for the month of March 2020 and is available on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Within this period, students will now pay GHC 0.80p per trip instead of the regular GHC 1.00.
According to the RSTC Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Godfred Akyea-Darkwah, the special offer is with the intention of rewarding patrons of their services.
“We’re giving a 20% discount on our services to our customers, not excluding the students on Wednesdays and Fridays in the month of March because of Ghana’s Independence. Without Ghana, we wouldn’t be where we are. Therefore we are giving this promotion to all who patronize RSTC services,” he told UniversNews
Dr. Godfred Akyea-Darkwah further added that the promotion is also geared toward reminding students about the presence of RSTC on the University campus.
“We’re making the students aware that RSTC is working and still vibrant,” he added,
The University of Ghana in 2015 entered into a Public-Private Partnership with RSTC to provide shuttle services to members of the University community.
