PALMER PARK, Md, USA. - Prince George's County police have arrested two suspects in connection with the Jan. 14 murder of a Upper Marlboro couple in their home, and sources say the victims knew the alleged attackers.

Samuel Culley Jr, 52, and Delford Barnes, 50, have been charged in the murders of 36-year-old Eunis Baah and 40-year-old Seth Aidoo, police said. Baah was three months pregnant when she died.

Kwame Sarpong, Aidoo's best friend, tells ABC 7 News Culley Jr. is Aidoo's ex-brother-in-law and had once lived with the couple. Two days before the murders, the defendants helped celebrate the victim's birthday at his home, the sources said.

"We can't even sleep," Sarpong said. "Now, justice has been served."

Police reportedly found the ex-brother-in-law hiding out in Newark, N.J. Back at his home in Springdale, Md., police arrested Barnes, his roommate.

Baah was fatally shot in the head and Aidoo was fatally stabbed, police sources said.

Police reported evidence of forced entry in the rear of the couple's home, which is located in a gated community. Police say the community's security cameras played a major role in the arrests.

"Using the information that was provided by family and friends, and looking at the video, there were a couple people of interest that were developed early on," Prince George's County police Commander Andrew Ellis said Wednesday at a news conference.

Neighbors say they can rest easier, but are still concerned about security after the two defendants allegedly gained access to quiet, private, secured area.

"It's a concern," Shirlie Wynn said. "My first thought was it was someone who knew them because you wouldn't think something like that would happen, being in a gated area."

Investigators are interviewing other relatives, including Aidoo's ex-wife, about the case.
