The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Tarkwa Nsueam assembly, Mrs. Christiana Cobbinah has advised assembly members to use the motorbikes allocated to them by the assembly to assist in revenue generation.

She said, this was a strategy they could adopt in raising enough funds to support the completion of ongoing projects in the municipality.

Presenting 43 motorbikes to both elected and appointed members of the Tarkwa Nsueam assembly in the Western Region, Mrs. Cobbinah expressed gratitude to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government, for fulfilling its promise of procuring motorbikes for assembly members nationwide.

She said communities will now be updated with plans and decisions taken by the assembly as members will pay regular visits to their electoral areas.

The MCE commended them for their zeal towards development, adding that they should take care of the bikes to prolong their lifespan.

She cautioned all political parties to avoid tarnishing the hard-worn reputation of their opponents as they prepared towards the December 7 elections.

The presiding member for Tarkwa Nsueam assembly, Mr. Moses Ackah on behalf of the assembly members thanked the donor for the gesture.

He said the assembly had insured all the motorbikes, adding that, the registration process will also be completed very soon.**
