Opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Campaign Coordinator Peter Mac Manu has urged party supporters to use their mobile phones and social media to circulate declared polling station results in the December 7 elections as a way of ensuring vigilance and preventing the governing NDC from rigging.
He told party supporters in Koforidua that parliament had now passed a law that mandated the EC to publish polling station results immediately after voting at such centres.
He, therefore, told NPP supporters to take photos of the results with their mobile phones and blast them immediately on social media to guard against rigging.
He said the fate that befell former Ivorian president Laurent Gbagbo and his wife could be the fate of the NDC if they dared rig the polls since the whole world would be watching.
Mr Mac Manu also urged party supporters to contribute to the party's campaign with the little they can muster.
