The Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of Environmental, Social and Governance at the Volta Aluminium Company Limited (VALCO), Philip Senyo Tsagli, has donated 200 bags of Dzata Cement to support the construction of a permanent National Democratic Congress (NDC) constituency office at Bortianor–Ngleshie Amanfro in the Greater Accra Region.
Tsagli, a philanthropist also a known big gun of the NDC, said the donation forms part of efforts to promote infrastructural development within the party and deepen political engagement at the constituency level.
Explaining the rationale behind the gesture, he indicated that the support is aimed at facilitating the timely completion of the party office project, which is expected to serve as a central hub for administrative operations, meetings, and community-focused political programmes within the constituency.
Tsagli previously demonstrated his political ambition in the constituency after contesting the NDC parliamentary primaries ahead of the 2024 general elections.
Although he did not secure the party’s parliamentary slot, political observers have described his continuous support for party development initiatives as a strong demonstration of loyalty and commitment to strengthening grassroots political structures.
The construction of permanent constituency offices is widely regarded by party faithful as a strategic step towards enhancing organisational efficiency, improving mobilisation efforts, and expanding political outreach within local communities.
Tsagli expressed optimism about the future of the party, reaffirming his confidence in the NDC’s development agenda and his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote unity, growth, and grassroots participation.
