VCC congratulates Asantehene on occasion of his fourth anniversary

The Voltarian Co-ordinating Council (VCC), has congratulated Otumfuo Osei Tutu, 11, the Asantehene for working relentlessly to bring peace and security to bear on residents and communities within Asanteman during his four years of reign as King.

The congratulation was contained in a goodwill message to the Asantehene on the occasion of his fourth anniversary on the Golden Stool, issued by Ashanti Region branch of the VCC in Kumasi on Sunday, and signed by The Reverend Togbe S.K. Fugah, Chairman of the VCC.

The VCC noted that since Otumfuo Osei Tutu's ascension to the Golden Stool four years ago, the peace and cordiality between Asantes and non-Asantes resident in Asanteman have been strengthened.

This apart, the congratulatory message observed that the wranglings among the different ethnic groups and religious organisations resident in Asanteman, have also now been eliminated from the system, thereby paving way for peaceful co-existence.

The VCC explained that these laudable initiatives by the Asantehene since his ascension to the Golden Stool has made it possible for all groups of people and religious organisations to perceive themselves as one family and to work in a more secured environment.

The VCC assured the Asantehene of their support and co-operation at all times, and their sustained prayers for divine guidance and wisdom for him to accomplish his vision in a more positive manner.
