Ho, Mar. 03, GNA - The Volta Regional Police Command on Wednesday observed that, the demise of Kofi Fiagbedzi alias "Spider," a notorious armed robber who had been on the Police wanted list for years was a big boost to the fight against crime.

Mr David Ampah-Bennin, Volta Regional Police Commander was speaking to the Ghana News Agency in Ho. He confirmed that Fiagbedzi, partly bred in Ho, often visited Ho and that the Volta Regional Police Command had been "in the wait for him" when he was busted in Accra.

"I will personally go on patrols to enhance the campaign against crime in the Region," Mr Ampah-Bennin stated, calling for support from all stakeholders, including the media.
