Varon Medical & Fertility Centre conducts free health screening at Rising Sun Montessori school

In celebration of Staff Appreciation Week and World Teachers' Day, Rising Sun Montessori School (Dome) partnered with Varon Medical & Fertility Centre/Varon Home Healthcare to conduct a free health screening for its staff on October 2, 2024.

The screening covered a range of health assessments, including Body Mass Index (BMI) checks, consultations with dietitians, general physicians, and gynecologists, as well as tests for Random Blood Sugar (RBS), Kidney Function (KFT), and Lipid Profile levels.

"We're committed to supporting our staff's health and well-being," said Jonathan Atandzi, Head of Rising Sun Montessori School (Dome).

"This health screening demonstrates our appreciation for their hard work and dedication."

Healthcare professionals from Varon Medical & Fertility Centre provided personalized consultations and health advice.

"This initiative highlights the importance of preventive healthcare and early detection," said Vincent Erzoah, Administrator of Varon Medical & Fertility Centre.

"We're proud to partner with Rising Sun Montessori School in promoting staff wellness."

Staff members expressed gratitude for the opportunity.

Teacher Ebenezer Armah remarked, "This is a wonderful initiative. I've learned so much about my health today."

Dr. Victor Akuoku, Obstetrician/Gynaecologist and CEO of Varon Medical & Fertility Centre/Varon Home Healthcare, educated staff on breast cancer awareness and cervical cancer prevention, pledging future collaborative health initiatives.
