The SD Dombo University of Business and Intergraded Development Studies (UBIDS) Political Science Students Association (POSSA) has inaugurated its new set of executives for the 2024–25 academic year.

In his inaugural address, President Ask-Nankong expressed gratitude to God for making his dream of becoming the president of their distinguished association a reality.

He also acknowledged his predecessors and his supporters, who played a pivotal role during his campaign, and also made mention of the challenges he faced during his early days as a political science student in the UBIDS community.

He said that his vision is centered on two thematics: popularity and finance.

He outlined that the two pillars will be built on four board categories, which are academic, leadership, communication, and entertainment.

Key initiatives include establishing the POSSA parliament to enhance communication and public speaking skills, seminars, career guidance, and counseling.

The president also promised to engage students in outdoor games and celebrate POSSA week for the first time in the association's history, culminating in the POSSA awards night.

President Ask-Nankong emphasized the importance of patience, learning from

mistakes, and contributions from all members to build a stronger POSSA.

He assured students that his administration would not let them down, committing

to work tirelessly to ensure their success.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by his friend Godwin Nyamdal Nchaji, invited guests, department heads, and student leaders.

With his vision and commitment, President Ask-Nankong is set to lead POSSA toward a more engaging and inclusive environment for all students, ending his acceptance speech with his famous slogan: In 2024, the living must smile.
