A national vice chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Alhaji Said Sinare who is seeking re election had said that in spite of the negative propaganda being bandied around by elements of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) against the ruling party and the president would yield zero results.
He said the President John Mahama led administration is doing a lot to deliver the promises he made to Ghanaians in the round up to the 2012 presidential and parliamentary elections.
speaking to Gold News in Accra the newly appointed Ambassador to Saudi Arabia said negative propaganda against the government would not wash.
He argued that the 2016 elections would be fought on issues and not on accusations and counter accusations.
He doubted if the opposition NPP did anything substantial in transforming the lives of the people in their eight year rule under the then president J.A Kufuor, explaining ''the NDC has a track record in keeping faith with the people that the opposition could not match ant day any time.''
According to H.E Said Sinare the NDC government led by president John Dramani Mahama is working assiduously to put smiles on the faces of the good people of Ghana. Alhaji Sinare is currently a Vice Chairman of the NDC, he was a former member of parliament for the Ayawaso central constituency on the ticket of the NDC, immediate past Ghana Ambassaor to Egypt and currently the ambassador to the Saudi Arabia.
He indicated that the John Dramani Mahama led government would not relent on his effort at working to help make Ghana a better place for all.
'' I am not saying 2016 is going to be a push over but we are doing all we can to boost the confidence the good people of Ghana has in the NDC. we would win Insha Allah but it would come through hard work which means we must all come together to make a comprehensive victory a reality and not a mere talk.''
He called on the NDC family to keep their faith in government and never lose hope because things would work out for the good of the party before 2016.
He stated that there should not be room for complacency because the watch word is ''hard work.'' Alhaji Said Sinare urged the rank and file of the party to close their ranks and work to achieve the vision and mission of both the NDC and government.
With hard work and dedication I believe John Dramani Mahama and the NDC would be retained, he stressed.
