The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo has noted that the frequent disregard for the law by the party’s vigilante groups, Invincible forces and the Delta Forces is as a result of the lack of jobs in the country.

The New Patriotic Party’s “Vigilante Groups”, the Delta forces and the Invincible forces have since the party took over the governance of the country been involved in several violent clashes.

Their disregard for the law has been condemned by members of the Political party, opposition parties and citizens of the country.

But speaking at the ongoing Extraordinary National Delegates Conference, the President noted that such instances of violence the youth groups have engaged in since he took over as the President of the country are as a result of the fact that they do not have jobs.

He indicated that jobs will be created because his government inherited a bankrupt country but with the ingenuity of his appointees, the country has been given a fertile grounds in the first year and he is hopeful that there will be jobs for the teeming youth of the party and the country.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is in the Ashanti Region for its Extraordinary National Delegates Conference to review and amend some sections of the party’s constitution.

The extraordinary conference has been made possible to grant the party the opportunity to review its constitution after several proposals were made during the Annual National Delegates Conference at Cape Coast in August this year.
