Vodafone Cash embarks on active rewards spree

Vodafone Ghana has embarked on an active campaign to reward its mobile money agents nationwide in a promotion dubbed, “Gye Wo De?”. The promotion will reward thousands of Vodafone Cash agents across the country up to the end of August 2017 whilst ramping up its subscriber base on the Vodafone Cash platform.

Beginning this month, high performing agents will be rewarded for a good job done with fantastic prizes including plasma TVs, digital radios and mobile phones.

The move also forms part of the institution of June as “Vodafone Cash month” by the telecommunications company, to educate and drive awareness about the service.

Martison Obeng-Agyei, Director for Vodafone Cash said: “This campaign aims to celebrate the giant strides made by Vodafone Cash so far and the endless possibilities and benefits the service offers for all Ghanaians. With the increasing usage of our mobile money services, Vodafone is committed to providing the necessary platforms to ensure the promotion of a cash-lite society and financial inclusion for every Ghanaian.”

In a related development, new Vodafone Cash subscribers are to enjoy an additional 200% bonus on airtime purchased via Vodafone cash and 50% payback on all transaction charges whilst customers will get additional bonus on every recharge via Vodafone Cash. There will also be free popcorn and drinks for every SilverBird movie ticket purchased via Vodafone Cash.

The platform now boasts of a wide range of services including ATM-cardless withdrawals, TV license payments, passport fees, pension payments, bulk payment services and insurance for fisher folks.
