Mobile and fixed operator Vodafone Ghana outsources its 750 towers to Eaton Towers, a British start-up established to manage towers in Africa. The contract has a 10-year length. According to Informa Telecoms & Media, Vodafone Ghana is the country’s third largest network in terms of subscriptions in a 5-player market. Vodafone had 2.8 million mobile subscriptions in 2Q10.
