Volta NDC ready to lead the charge to reset Ghana - Mawutor Agbavitor

Volta regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Cde Mawutor Agbavitor has said that the party in the region was poised and ready to lead the charge of its flagbearer John Dramani Mahama to reset the current trajectory of the country.

He said the (NDC) in the Volta region is set to intensify its campaign to ensure that the party secured a resounding victory in the upcoming December 7 elections, to restore hope and dignity to the good people of Ghana.

"Indeed, the energy and enthusiasm demonstrated at the NDC campaign launch on Saturday 27th July at the Tamale Kawula, Jubilee Park, is a clear testament and undeniable that Ghanaians are poised to reset the current trajectory of our beloved nation. The upcoming election is not a joke—it is a crucial battle for our future, and the time for decisive action is now," Cde Mawutor Agbavitor said in a statement on Monday, July 29.

He added: "Our flagbearer captured the essence of our mission perfectly: "This election is a fight for our nation’s soul. We stand at a crossroads, and only through unity, resolve, and tireless effort will we steer Ghana towards a brighter, more equitable future. We will not falter, and we will not fail."

Agbavitor said the party will intensify its campaign at every nook and cranny, with a view of replicating every strategy and effort with unwavering commitment and determination.

"We will harness our collective strengths to secure a resounding victory that will send the NPP back to the bush where they belong - I am clear in my mind that with hard work, sacrifice, and a united front, no forces can ever stop our victory.

The regional NDC Chairman called on all party members including elected officers and appointed officials among others to rededicate their energies towards the victory project.

"While at it, I want to assure all comrades that our shared happiness is assured when victory is won. Onward to a decisive victory," he assured.
