Ho, April 27, GNA - A Photo Exhibition of the works and contribution= s of Ghana's first President Dr Kwame Nkrumah in Ho is expected to bring Africa's leader of the last century alive in the minds of people in the Volta Region. Mr William Addo, Regional Director of the Centre for National Cultur= e (CNC), who made this known on Tuesday, said parents and opinion leaders should therefore encourage their children and students to patronize the exhibition.
He was briefing the Ghana News Agency on the expectations of the exhibition as part of the Centenary celebrations of Dr Nkrumah. "Dr Nkrumah was a great son of Ghana and Africa whose works and contributions must be made known to generations," Mr Addo said. He said the exhibitions to be mounted on the premises of the CNC fro= m May 22 to 26 this year would attract tourists, businessmen, politicians a= nd cultural advocates.
Mr Addo said the event would have "traditional and cultural touches"=
which would appeal to all including locals and visitors. He described the exhibition as a major national event, which require= d the support of everybody.
