The Volta Regional Minister Hon. Helen Adjoa Ntoso has described President Mahama's achievement in her jurisdiction as overwhelming.

She said after visiting some completed projects with the President, she can say, "the Volta region is now a paradise on earth".

According to madam Adjoa Ntoso, President Mahama deserves commendation for his impressive performance in road projects and others.

She said the President has transformed the region and believes come November 7, Ghanaians will renew his mandate as President of the Republic of Ghana.

Madam Adjoa Ntoso said it was laughable for former President Kufour and the NPP to make claims that the region witnessed monumental development during their tenure- since those claims are false.

Speaking in an interview with Rainbow Radio, the minister posited that, Ghana under President Mahama's administration has witnessed programmes in various sectors including, education, water and health among others.

President Mahama some few weeks ago at a gathering in Anlo said the NDC party is responsible for all the massive projects in the Volta region since the inception of the Fourth Republic.

A statement which was refuted by former President Kufour and the NPP.

But madam Helen Adjoa Ntoso restated that claim and posited that, a lot has taken place in the region under President Mahama.

Responding to whether government has reduced youth employment in the region, she said every developed country in the world today face challenges of youth unemployment, therefore, Ghana cannot be an exception- however, President Mahama through its initiative under the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) has provided jobs for the teaming youth in the region.

She called on critics of President Mahama to desist from referring to the jobs given the youth as a political temporal jobs since it is far better for the beneficiaries to be engaged than to sit at home and have nothing doing.

Hon. Helen Adjoa Ntoso added, "President Mahama's achievement will silence his critics and overshadow their propaganda agenda of deceiving Ghanaians over government's achievement."

The minister denied claims that President Mahama is abusing his incumbency.

She said the President is accounting to Ghanaians on what he promised them.
